"Preserving Memories"

Through the lens of a camera we can see places and things far and near that we likely will never have the opportunity to visit in person, and it's hard to put a value on the pleasure we receive from viewing photographs taken by other people. But it's the simple pleasures of life that are preserved via the wonderful world of photography that often mean the most to us. Today's picture is a great case in point. Here is photographer Jim Albani with a few words about the picture: "During the summer months we had family and friends down for a Bar-B-Q at our old house in East York. I snapped this photo preserving the memories of childhood and the fun of the moment. The photo was taken with a 35mm Praktica MTL5 camera in  mid-June."   --Jim Albani   Visitor Comments...
