"You've GOT to be kidding me!"

Photo courtesy of Ron E. Trees. For many of us, our pets are a huge part of our lives, and we love photographing them right along with everyone else in the family. Today's picture features one of those cherished "family" portraits. Here is photographer Ron Trees to tell us about it: "Now you tell me, have you ever seen a more pitiful look on a dogs face? This last weekend, my oldest daughter and son-in-law came to visit us bringing their dog, Riley, along with them. Our dogs are somewhat used to getting "dressed up", as it does happen from time to time, but for poor Riley, this was possibly his first time ever. He was enjoying life as he knew it when he was snatched up by my middle daughter and taken away. No one even noticed that he was gone, but when he returned, this is what we saw. He pretty much just sat there, not moving a muscle and you can see that he really was not happy with the situation at all. He was pretty excited when it was all removed. Just wait until mom and dad find out what was done just before leaving to go back home! Our pets truly become part of our home. They are part of everything that we do a lot of the time. I hope that they enjoy their time with us as much as we do theirs. I am sure that in this case, Riley was wondering what was wrong with his humans as they were acting pretty silly. I sure hope that I do not need a model release for this one, as I am sure that he will not sign one. We get lots of excellent photos here at TodaysPhoto.org that I so thoroughly enjoy!! To this day Amy still puts on some weird looking outfits on her dog Maya and she always did on Sage. I'm betting that Sage is up in heaven laughing at how funny Maya looks and thinking "Oh wow, better Maya than me".
