Flowers from Rock Hill, SC

When Amy and Gene bought their new log home in Rock Hill, SC, it
came with several acres of wooded property. They spent much of the
past year renovating the house, but they also found plenty of
opportunities for enjoying the great outdoors in their very own
"park"!
Since Rock Hill is farther south than our neck of the woods, Amy and
Gene were able to take in the sights, sounds and aromas of spring
earlier than us. Some of those wonderful sights and smells of spring include the
beautiful flowers featured in today's picture. Here are a few words
from Gene about the image:
"This 'stick bouquet' is made from red maple and flowering dogwood
twigs which are now in full bloom down here. Since these trees are
all around the property, I literally went into the yard/woods with
the
pruning shears and in 30 seconds I had cut all the sprigs that
are in
the picture. Then I took them inside and shoved them into the
vase,
and it turned out pretty well!" --Gene

Even twigs can make a great picture! I'm really proud of my girls
(all 4 of 'em). Amy and Gene sure has a beautiful place for all of
God's critters to enjoy.
