Sally & Tensel Sandker on The Pickin' Porch Show

When it comes to contemporary Bluegrass Music there simply is no bigger name than Rhonda Vincent, and at last night's Pickin' Porch Show Cheria and I found out that the next generation of her super-talented family is preparing to make its mark as well. Along with their band The Next Best Thing, Rhonda's daughters Sally & Tensel Sandker wowed the crowd with their finely-tuned family harmonies as they picked and sang a plethora of timeless Bluegrass and Country Music classics as well as a number of original songs. They were absolutely outstanding on the Gospel numbers, blending their voices to perfection to produce some of the sweetest, yet most powerful sounds you will ever hear. I'm constantly amazed at the level of talent and professionalism held by the host of young Bluegrass singers and musicians that Cheria and I are privileged to meet from time to time, and it quickly became clear to me last night that Sally & Tensel Sandker are destined to go just as far as they want to go in the world of music.     Visitor Comments...
