A number of Scottish landscapes have graced the pages of this
site over the years, but today's picture by photographer Nigel
Clarke is a bit unlike most of the others. Featuring a Scottish loch
with a storm brewing overhead, this picture reflects a somewhat
darker mood than the rest. The British Isles are simply gorgeous,
and the scene depicted above is quite remarkable in my opinion.
The camera and settings used to capture this image:

I really like this picture. Other than for the approaching storm, it
looks like a very peaceful and relaxing place. Well done Mr. Clarke.

Nigel Clarke did a wonderful job of capturing that scene. It's
beautiful! I really like seeing the boats in there. It gives a sense
of life to an otherwise stark but beautiful landscape. Very nice.

The clouds really make this picture in my opinion as they really
show the true "character" of the British Isles. Very nicely done
indeed Mr. Clarke.
