"Seagull in flight"

Regular beachgoers detest them but photographers love them.
Seagulls are among the most beautiful and graceful birds on the
planet, but they can be quite annoying to those who enjoy spending
the day at a beach.
These intriguing water birds have a long history of interacting with
humans. In fact, ever since man first began navigating the oceans,
sailors have taken delight at the first sighting of sea gulls
because their presence often means that the ship is approaching a
land mass.
Today's picture features a beautiful seagull in flight, gracefully
winging its way to wherever it desires to go. Below is a list of the camera
and settings photographer Rene Jorgensen used to capture this
gorgeous image:
Camera: Canon EOS 40D w/ Canon 70-200mm f/4 zoom lens
Shutter speed: 1/1600
Focal length: 188mm
Aperture: F/6.3
ISO: 250
Picture taking mode: Shutter priority
