Contrary to what many believe, the great state of New York
offers visitors much more to see and experience than just New York
City. Much of New York State is indeed rural, providing countless
opportunities for a wide array of outdoor activities, including
photography.
Today's picture features a gorgeous sunset seen somewhere away from
the hustle and bustle of the Empire State's famous cities. Here are
a few details about the image from photographer Jeff Walker:
"This photo was taken on October 1, 2007 in central NY State
while
my wife and I were freedom touring in the USA as part
of our 11
month tour of the world. The contrast between the
tree structure and the sunset cloud
colors
gives this photo a
unique quality that draws in the eye."
