Today's picture is the epitome of springtime and the renewal it
brings forth upon our planet during this wonderful time of the year.
This photograph was taken by frequent contributor Robert
Schwarztrauber, and the following is his story behind the image:
"Every day we're bombarded by the media with gloom and doom
stories
of all that is wrong in this world. But in just seconds your
mind
can forget all of that as you witness the renewal of the Earth
first-hand. Hope springs anew while watching the babies of all God's
creatures. Innocence constantly being reborn, giving hope to all
who
will sit quiet for a moment and realize that in any moment,
in just
an instant, your thoughts can change. You can choose to
see the
good. Or focus on the worst. You are human. You can
choose.
As a photographer, I seek out the beauty in this world, and am
never
disappointed.
Here is a photo of a lovely family taken last weekend at one of
my
favorite photo spots, and a particularly fitting place to
appreciate
the circle of life, on the beautiful grounds of the
260 acre Forest
Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, NY."
