"Spike in the box"

Critters... You just never know what they're gonna do next! With our daughter Amy in the process of moving from Wilmington, North Carolina to her new home "south of the border", she and Gene have been busy packing everything up into boxes for the big move. Well, her kitty Spike apparently thought they were planning to box up everything in the house - including the pets, so to expedite the process he simply squeezed himself into an empty box and waited patiently for Amy to come by with a roll of packing tape. Well, needless to say, Spike and his "big sister" Allie didn't get boxed up and shipped off along with the pots, pans and toilet paper. On moving day they ended up riding right along with Amy in her car as she sped down the interstate to her new home, scampering around in the back seat and having a party as the miles whizzed by. And according to Amy, it was quite a trip! Amy loves her frolicking felines to no end, and I'm sure she'll do everything she can to make sure they enjoy living in their new home in the "Palmetto State" as much as she will.
