Picture of the day - February 24, 2009
"Spooky Tree"
Today's picture is an excellent example of how an everyday object
can be photographed in a way that makes it appear to be quite out of
the ordinary indeed. To create this intriguing image photographer
Agata Urbaniak shot an ordinary tree from an unusual perspective
using creative lighting and post-processing techniques which gave
the finished photograph a decidedly "spooky" look. And in my opinion
the "experiment" turned out rather well.
I guess this just goes to show that with a little imagination and a
few photography & post processing skills we can turn what would have
been an ordinary picture into something right out of a storybook.
