Today's picture by photographer Rick Ellis features yet another
glorious sunset, and that's just fine with me because I consider
sunrise and sunset to be the most beautiful times of the day.
There's just something about the way the sun's rays burst through
the clouds as it nears the horizon at sundown! That's what I call "God
creating another masterpiece."
Here is Mr. Ellis with a few words about his wonderful image:
"Streamers poured through the clouds at sunset last evening so I
ventured to the roof of the building and began taking photos. In
this
frame a gull shares the sky with a jet's contrail. Quite
striking."
