"The Crooked Cabin"

The Crooked Cabin in Abingdon, Va.
Sign at the Crooked Cabin.
The beautiful and historic town of Abingdon, Virginia is one of the state's most popular tourist destinations. The world-famous Barter Theatre, Martha Washington Inn, Whites Mill and many other historic buildings make Abingdon and the surrounding area such an interesting and delightful place to visit.

Today's picture features one of those wonderful buildings: The Crooked Cabin. Once part of a farm in the nearby community of Alvarado, this beautiful log cabin was reconstructed at its current Main Street location in 1930 - and the original logs date all the way back to the mid-eighteenth century!

Today, The Crooked Cabin offers a quaint lodging experience for up to six people (two per bedroom). What better way is there to experience the history and ambiance of Old Abingdon than by spending your nights in a genuine log cabin? For more information on The Crooked Cabin or for lodging details, please visit their website.
