The beautiful countryside of Västmanland, Sweden

When most people think of Sweden, beautiful snow-covered landscapes and cross-country skiing come to mind, and for good reason since part of the country lies within the Arctic Circle. But as today's picture shows, the Swedes do in fact enjoy a "summertime" just like we "southerners" do. Our friends living in the extreme northern region of the planet sure do have their fair share of beautiful scenery. This photograph features a scene from Västmanland that could easily grace a picture-postcard, and I'll bet the view is just as stunning when everything is covered with the deep snow the area is so famous for!     Visitor Comments...
