"Wave & Icebergs"

Tony Seaward.
Although North America is well into spring, there are plenty of
icebergs to be found floating just offshore in the icy coastal
waterways and the North Atlantic. Photographer Tony Seaward took
this beautiful photograph of several bergs and a rather impressive
wave just off the Canadian coast. The following is his story behind
the image:
"I took this picture on May 5th, 2008 at 1000 hrs near the community
of Bonavista in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. I am looking
northeast in this picture and we can see the tip of the Bonavista
Peninsula and the North Atlantic beyond that.
We are just coming into the best time to observe icebergs. It is not
uncommon to see 30 icebergs in this area at one time. I used a Canon
XTi with a Sigma 70-300 APO to take this picture. This image was
captured at ISO 200, f/8 and exposure of 1/1250." --Tony
Seaward
