Contributor Bio
Winston Rockwell
Winston
Rockwell has been involved in amateur and semi-professional
photography since the early 1980’s. He started out photographing SCCA car rallies and air shows, and did some freelance work for a
white-water rafting company in Chilliwack, B.C., Canada.
In 2004, he joined the digital revolution, and now uses Canon DSLRs
and top-grade lenses for his work. His images have been published in
newspapers, a calendar published by a local botanical garden, on
postcards and in Life Images magazine. In 2006, he was honored to
have one of his photos printed in National Geographic Magazine.
Mr. Rockwell is a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, and
currently lives near Seattle, WA, in the heart of the Puget Sound
region. This area is rich with opportunities (in spite of the
gloomy, rainy winters), and offers an outdoor photographer a wide
variety of natural subjects – landscapes, flowers, birds, and
animals. Mr. Rockwell loves to spend his free time capturing the
beauty of the natural world in his images. He invites you to check
out many of his stunning photographs at
