Cheria and I visited Carolina Beach a number of times while our
daughter Amy was living in Wilmington, North Carolina, but this
striking view is quite unlike any that we have ever seen. This image
depicting a magnificent sunrise with the rays bursting brilliantly
through the clouds was captured by Mr. Eric Brown of
What an experience it must have been to stroll along the white sands
of Carolina Beach as the sun put on such a spectacular show just
offshore. God surely had sunrises and sunsets in mind when He
created the planet's beaches, and on this morning all of His
wonderful handiwork was obviously on display for us all to enjoy.
Here are the camera and settings used to capture this image:

I'm pretty sure I have stood on this very spot at Carolina Beach and
it is indeed breathtaking. Nice capture Mr. Brown!

We have some gorgeous sunsets here along our coasts as well but this
one is something else! Wonderful!!!
