In the wintertime our hemisphere's deciduous trees are mostly bare thanks to the gentle tug of gravity pulling the autumn leaves from their branches to the ground below. Bare trees make for some rather bland landscapes, but once a coat of heavy, wet snow covers them they become transformed into something quite delightful.

Photographer Celine Gros captured this beautiful image of a winter wonderland somewhere in her native France, and as you can see it has sort of a "painting" look and feel to it. I sure hope she has a print of it hanging on her wall, because that's exactly where stunning image belongs!
