"The Tetons"

A stunning photo of the Tetons reflecting in a glacial lake.
Photo courtesy of Jack Sanders.          (Click on the photo for a larger view)

Today's picture features a stunning summertime view of the Tetons reflecting in the blue waters of one of the region's pristine glacial lakes. This amazing photograph was taken by photographer Jack Sanders, and it is surely one of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen.

The camera and settings that Mr. Sanders used to capture this image:
    Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel
    Focal length: 75mm
    Shutter speed: 1/200 second
    Aperture: f/6.3
    ISO: 100

The Tetons are always beautiful any time of year, but I have never seen them look more stunning than this. Awesome, awesome job Mr. Sanders!

Today's picture is just fantastic! When I loaded up the "Picture of the Day" this morning I knew I would be greeted with a wonderful photo as always, but this one just blew my mind. This one is definitely a wall-hanger!

I only need one word to describe just how good this picture is, and as soon as I can think of a superlative good enough to accurately describe it I'll let you know. This is by far the best landscape photo I have ever seen.

Actually, I've seen better pictures come out of my own camera than this one - but only in my dreams. Amazing shot Mr. Sanders.

Outstanding picture today Mr. Rouse. They just keep getting better and better. is my very first stop on the World Wide Web every morning, and pictures like this one are the reasons why.

I'm going to have to get out of the city more often if there are views like this to be seen across America. This shot is nothing short of amazing.

An excellent composition of the magnificent Tetons! Makes me want to visit there even more! I'm not so sure I like the photoshopped sun in the upper left corner, though... the "sun" is the wrong color, and the shadows are not where they'd be if the sun were actually in that position. I'd love to see the original...

Beautiful picture of the Tetons today. The Tetons are one of the most majestic mountain ranges in the world IMHO. I like very much what Mr. Sanders did with this photo. Just another fine example why is always my first stop on the web each day.

That's a spectacular scene by Jack Sanders. I'm always in awe of those breathtaking mountain scenes, mostly because I live in a fairly flat geographic location. My wish is to come upon a view such as this one day. It's a small point, but I do agree with Mr. Rockwell that the sun does distract a bit. But that really is a beautiful photograph.
